East Møn
Once you have passed the town gate in Stege on your way to the Cliffs of Møn you are also on your way to East Møn. The natural amenities are especially connected to the cliffs and their hinterland, but also to the open agricultural landscape which is dominated by Klintholm Estate.

The holiday houses on East Møn you will not find in summer cottage areas, but as individual houses spread out into the fantastic countryside on East Møn.
They are often old, carefully renovated farm houses with both charm and character.
Several of the villages in the area have fine facilities for tourists as well as residents. Klintholm has shops, a fishing harbour, newsagent’s and several good restaurants. In Borre you will find Dagli’ Brugsen (a small supermarket) and the baker’s along with two gas stations and a playground built by the residents themselves.

On East Møn you will find most of Møn’s attractions within biking distance: the Cliffs of Møn, Klinteskoven (the Cliff Forest) and the protected commons, Liselund Castle Park, Elmelunde Church, ancient graves and Klintholm Harbour which is an attraction in itself with its original, busy fishing environment.
If you want to see it all with out rush and bustle then spend a night or two at one of the many cosy bed and breakfast suppliers on East Møn.
West Møn
Smiling landscapes among small forests and round hills, always close to the living sea. These are the surroundings when you are on West Møn.

Even though the largest attractions are situated on East Møn (The Cliffs of Møn, Liselund Castle, etc.) West Møn also has a lot to offer. Beautiful nature, endless sky and constantly shifting coast scenery. Living communities with pleasant citizens, shops, good facilities and lots of local colour.
At Hårbølle you will find one of the best beaches on the island along with the possibility of enjoying camp life on Camping Vestmøn.

West Møn is a good point of departure for trips, both in the area where you will find some of Denmark’s most interesting ancient graves, medieval murals (in Fanefjord church), lots of craftsmen and the Jewelry Museum in Damme.
From West Møn you will quickly reach the motor way south and north bound where you will find the attractions BonBon Land and Knuthenborg Safari Park
