Art and Crafts of Møn and South Zealand

Møn and South Zealand are the home of a lot of artists and craftsmen of which quite a few are internationally recognized. There are painters and sculptors, potters, glass artists, gold smiths, amber and stone polishers, persons who make wickerwork and candles.
 Galleries and sales exhibitions may be found all over the island. Frequently open house arrangements and joint exhibitions are held. One fine example is Smykkemuseet (the museum for jewelry) in Store Damme which is the only one of its kind in the country.
